AUSTRIA-HUNGARY FRONTIER.
THE BURGENLAND DISPUTE. EVACUATION DEADLOCK. LONDON, September S. It is reported in Paris that the Austrians have reoccupied Kirkschlag. Advices from Vienna state that the Hungarian Minister handed to the Austrian Chancellor a Note declaring that the Hungarian Government was ready formally to hand over Burgenland to the inter-Allied Mission and to recognise Austria's sovereignty over that region, but Hungary is not prepared to evacuate the territory until the negotiations are ended. Austria, however, declines to negotiate until Burgenland is handed over.
The Czpcho-Slovakian Legation at Vienna states that Czechoslovakia is prepared to send troops to West Hungary if Austria and tho Conference of Ambassadors desire her to do so.— (A. and N.Z. and Keuter.)
