Tho number of individual subsuribera connected in ono <jroup is not to exceed 10 in cases where the whole of the lines so connected aro held by exclusive subscribers, but if the lines connected together consist either partially or wholly of party lines tho number of individual subscribers shall not exceed 14< Xo line is to bs connected to more than one group. It is further provided that if the Department considers sueli an arrangement j practicable an exchange subscriber may in the case of sickness or other emergency be connected outside the ordinary hoiiTS of exchange attendance with the local doctor or with a group of whicli the doctor's connection forms a part, and such connection will be free of charge.
