MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE
TWO BOTS MISSING. POLICE SEARCH FAILS. (By TelegTaph.—Own -Correspondent.) HAMILTON , , this day. A mysterious disappearance of two boys, Horace Dixon (12), son nf Mr. Herbert Dixon (employed on the Ruakura State Farm), and Edward Taylor (12), whose paTente reside in Pcachgrove Road, is reported. Young Dixon called for Taylor at 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday to go to Fairfield School. The two boys left with their school books and lunch. Several other children caw them apparently on their way to the school, and spoke to them, but neither of the boyH reached the school, nor have they been heard of since. The police, who were only notified of their disappearance yesterday afternoon, searched the river bank, as young Dbton was known to be fond of swimming, but they found no trace of them or of their clothing. The police are of opinion that the youngsters have simply run away from home, and that they will probably turn up safely. Both are healthy boys. Dixon is dTeesed in a grey suit, and was wearing a Fairfield School ca.p.
