FROM OIL TO COAL.
ENGINES RECONVERTED. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 7. The Great Central, Great Western, Midland, Great Eastern, and Southwestern are reconverting a number of locomotives, which were fitted to use oil during the strike, into coal users. Though the use of oil is entirely satisfactory, the companies! do not wish to rely on foreign sources for fuel.— (A. and X.Z.)
