A GERMAN SUGGESTION. LONDON", September 7. The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Express" states that flip latest suggestion for meeting the reparation burden is taxation <>f corpulence. The City Council discussed whether the English or Bavarian standard should be adopted, and decided that if the Bavarian were adopted the tax would be ineffective.— (A. and NZ. Cable.)
