AUCKLAND EDUCATION BOARD

At the usual meeting of the Auckland Education Board, held this morning. Mr. J. D. McKenzie presided, in the absence of Mr. E. C. Banks, the chairman, who Is in hospital. It was decided that instead of meeting on Tnesdny Dights nnd Wednesdays as at preseut. the board should in future do all its business on the Wednesday. Mrs. X. E. Ferner and Messrs. IT. S. W. King and G. W. Murray were appointed to represent the board on the Hoard of Managers or Serldnn Memorial Technical School. Mr. J. S. Boiml, who was formerly a member and asked to be relieved as be thought it was a position that should bo tilled by a town member, was thanked fur his past services. Mrs. .Fpruer and Messrs. W. I. Campbell and Murray were appointed to represent the hoard on the Board of Managers of the Khun School of At. Proposals were received from the Education #>epartroent for the erection of movable school buildings to meet the requlrments of Royal Ottk and Mennles Id-serve. The general principle of the movable school was approved, and a committee was set up to consider the location of the Unyal Oak building.
