ABYSSINIAN RAIDERS.
NO DANGER TO COLONISTS. LONDON, September 6. A reassuring statement from a trustWorthy quarter regarding the Abyssinian incursion into Kenya Colony (the East African Protectorate) points out that such raids are not unusual. No danger to colonists is anticipated. The' hundreds of miles of desert that separate Abyssinia from European settlements in Kenya are regarded as an efficient barrier against an attack. —(A. and X.Z. Cable.)
