SHORT-LIVED SOVIET. CORK HARBOUR SEIZURE. '• TREACHERY TO SINN FEIN." (Received 3.40 p.m.) LONDON, September 6. The Cork Harbour Workers' Soviet was short-lived. Host of the subordinate ilurbour Board employees regarded the seizure of the offices as Gilbertian, and in a spirit of jest offered to carry f>ll under [Soviet control. The Dail Kirami Ministry of Labour with the result that the strikers consented to arbitration by a board representing the parties equally, the Dail nominating the chairman. The "Daily Telegraph's" Cork correspondent states that the public is predominantly against tin- strikers, principally because their action is regarded as treachery to the Sinn Fein.— (A. and S:/,.
