TEACHERS APPOINTED.
The Auckland Education Board met last evening, Mr. J. ID. iMeKenzie presiding in the absence, through illness, of the chairman, Mr. E C Bunks. There were also present: Messrs G W. 'Murray, H. S. W. Klnj, ,T. Boddie, A - . M. ißurns, J. S. Bond, W. ,T. Campbell, R. C. Smith, and Mrs. N. .- E. Ferner. The following appointments were made: ■Head Teacher: Miss 'Effle Douglas, Patetonga. 'Sole Teachers: Mr. G. F. Wight, Alfriston; Mis? G. Bartle, Kelila. Secondary Assistant: Qliss G. !M. Hammond, 8.A., ■Matamata District (High School. The committee will be consulted regarding tne appointment of Miss G. I. 'Clark as teacher.
