Downic Stewart) ha S intimated to chambers of commerce that it is proposed to place the matter before Cabinet on the return of the Prime Minister to decide whether legislation giving effect to the proposal should be introduced this session The Dunedin, Taranaki, and Wellington chambers have approved of the idea, the latter body slating mat some two years ago it had expressed the advisability of giving effect to tn e proposal
