The "Daily Express" Berlin correspondent slates that the Conservatives celebrated the battle of Tannenburg against Government orders at Potsdam, A thousand Communists met them in procession and fried to capture the Royalists' Hag, whereupon the police fired on the crowd, two being killed and many injured. They are demanding that the Govornn.ohl take all steps to save the endangered republic. The masses are horrified at the assassination, but the wealthier section, and especially officers, are openly gloating over it. Students snug songs in the streets celebrating the event. The "Daily Telegraph's" Berlin correspondent, states that organised artisan action against the militarist demonstrations has begun at Oranienburg, where the workers broke up the Tannenburg fete and bombarded the celebtants with chairs, Ixittles, and glasses, and demolished the restaurant in which the demonstration was held. Merlin workers stopped a suburban celebration and hemmed a militarist procession, tearing off officers' epaulets.
