Two teams from the 'Hamilton High School will pl3.v two from the Auckland Grammar School on the .Remuera ground to-morrow afternoon.

This is the lirst official appearance to be made by an Auckland -Secondary School under the auspices of the Hockey Association, and is thus an indication of the growing popularity of the game and of the great Ihold wnich it is gaining over the young and active members of our city. The entry of the secondary schools will do much to bring the "stick" game before the public, and to show how- seriously it Is rivalling football as a winter pastime.

The games on Friday will start at 3 p.m., and each should provide a fine exhibition. The Hamilton lads are likely to .prove a tough proposition, for hockey has been established among them as a school S ame for many years, and* it is no -uncommon thing for them to furnish from their numbers a fair proportion of the Waikato representatives. Ou the other hand, the Grammar School boys are renowned for being able to put In the field a fast and clever team, no matter what may be the nature of the game. The contest -between the two A teams, upon which the aupremaev of the schools will be decided, is thus sure to be a keen and interesting one.
