HUANUI SPRINGS A LEAK.
TOWED IXTO PORT. Yesterday afternoon the ketch lluanui wae towed into port in a leaky condition. After loading a cargo of cement at "Whangarei the vessel left the northern port on Tuesday evening. Yesterday morning the master. Captain R. "Stevens found that the lluanui was leaking, and upon arriving off Tiri Tiri he signalled for a tug. About 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon the Devonport Ferry Company's tug Young Bungaree. which was dispatched to the assistance of the ketch, took her in tow and 'brought her into the port. The vessel remained in the stream overnight, and berthed at the Queen's wharf this morning for inspection. On May 12 last the Huanui was stranded on the Waikanae Beach, Gisborne, and was later extensively overhauled at Gisborne.
