THE SPRINGBOKS' VISIT.
(To ;he EHttoi-.i Sir, —Is this our national game—the game we have always boasted of as being the amateur sport—that the officials have decided to charge such prices to witness at their grounds? Why not, like the Northern Union League, when the Englishmen visited our shores, hold the match in the Domain and charge a moderate price of admission? It would serve the N.Z.R.U. right if the majority of followers boycotted the Park on account of the prices. How are those people who have to work until 12.30 and 1 o'clock getting on? Unless they book a seat at 7/6 or more they won't stand a chance. If this is what the N.Z.R.U. call sport, w<?ll I can't see it.—l am, etc., SPECTATOR.
