MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

The Minister of Education (the Hon. C. J. Parr), accompanied by his private secretary (Mr. F. Matthews), arrived in Auckland from Wellington yesterday morning. This afternoon Mr. Parr, Mr. J. H. Gunson (Mayor of Auckland). Mr. .7. W. Phackelford (Mayor of Mount Eden), and officials of the Auckland Education Board went out to view the EdenEpsom reserve, a portion of which it is proposed to transfer as a site for the erection of a new training college. This evening Mr. Parr proceeds to Whanjrarei. where he will inspect the Boys' High School, the public schools, and the hospital. On Tuesday the Dareaville citizens will tender a reception to Mr. Parr, and the Minister of Public Works (the Hon. •T. G. Coates) will also be present. Mr. Parr will lay the foundation stone of the school the frrant for which was authorised some time On Thursday the Minister journeys to Ttotorua in fulfilment of his reported intention to investigate the military hospital before it is taken over by the Health or Tourist Department. The Minister of Public Works (the Hon. J. G. Co'ate?) arrived in Auckland this afternoon, and proceeded to Kaipara. He returns to Auckland later in the week, and on Thursday will receive a very representative deputation in connection with hydro-electricity. hi i ■■ ««
