CHARGE OF ARSON.

ARREST AT GREYMOUTH. GELIGNITE IN EVIDENCE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, this day. Mr. Robert Thompson, a farmer at Barrytown, waa awakened early on Monday to find his bedroom full of smoke. He extinguished the fire on the crossbeams under the house. Subsequently 'he found two plugs of gelignite in the vicinity. The police wore informed, and later arrested John I'uzan, a labourer, who was brought before the Greymouth Magistrate's Court to-day on a charge of arson. Accused was remanded till Monday next.
