ENGINEDRIVERS' AWARD.

WELLINGTON, Monday. The award for the stationary traction engine-drivers provides for a 48-hour week, night or day. Overtime is to be paid at the rate of time and a half for the first three hours, and double time thereafter. Minimum rates of wages are fixed as follows:—Engine-drivers in charge of any boiler, first-class certificate, 17s per day; second-class, 16s; traction or locomotive certificate, 17s winding engines, 17s; firemen, 15s 6d; greasers, 15s 6d; all with a bonus of 6d per day and Is 6d dirt money.
