PAGEANT OF THE AIR.
GREAT DISPLAY AT HENDON. LONDON, July 3. Huge crowds at Hendon, including the King and Queen and several Dominion Prime Ministers, witnessed the Royal Air Force aerial pageant, in which 100 aeroplanes and many of the most famous airmen, some with 30 or 40 war victories to their credit took part. The airship R33 directed the traffic by means of wireless to motor cyclists, who disentangled any "'blocks." ' Astonishing feats, including duels between aeroplanes travelling at the rate of 100 miles an hour, were performed. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
