GIGANTIC SUNSPOT.
Mr. J. P. Artha, a member of tl» 8.A.A., writes: "A large spot has just appeared on the sun. It is approximately 20,000 miles in diameter and should be central on the sun's disc about Thursday. Large spots are rarely seen on the sun at this period, only very faint ones being visible for weeks together."
