COACHBUILDERS' CONGRESS.
I (By Telegraph.—l'ress Association.) j CIIRIjjTCHIRCH, Monday. The coach and motor vehicle employers' conference decided unanimously to write to the Uarage Proprietors' Association stating that the conference considered the statements made to the Tariff Commission in reference to duties on motor bodies were made without due consideration of the position in its present stage of development, and that the conference had appointed a committee to discuss the position with its executive in the hope of presenting a j united front. Officers were elected as follows: — President, Mr. D. 11. Dylor, Wellington: vice-presidents, North Island, Mr. l>. Wallace, Te Aroha; South Isiand, Mr. J. E. Nesbit, Invereargill; auditor, Mr. R. A. Fuller, Palmerston North; secretary, Mr. E. C. Harvie, Palmerston North.
