The Communist rising followed a plan arranged in' Moscow, but it broke out a month too poon. The Communists hold Bitterfelcl, cutting off the BerlinHalle communications. The police are armed with maxims only, while the rebels are equipped with mine-throwers and heavy machine-guns. Political considerations prevent the use of the armed reserve forces. — (A. and X.Z.
