POUNDED ON THE ROCKS. |By Telegraph. — I'ress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. There is very little to add regarding the Magic wreck. When the crew got ashore below Pencarrow they were looked after by the lighthouse men. and are now little the worse for their experience. The vessel missed stays and could not make headway against the heavy gale. She was dashed on the rocks to-day and badly pounded. The gale subsided, but the wind has not changed, as was anticipated. Had it done so the little vessel would have been smashed to kindling wood. She is in a perilous condition, but if the weather remains favourable there is a probability of her being hauled off.
