LONDON, March 27. Miss Maude Royden, who was one 01 the leaders of the women's suffrage movement, and since 1917 has been assistant-preacher at the City Temple defying the Bishop of London, conductec a three-hours' service on Good Friday a 1 St. Botolph*s, in Bishopsgate. The vicai was present, and a crowded congrega tion, which consisted chiefly of women including several clergy.—(A. and N.Z.)
