A SUCCESSFUL MISSION.
i CHURCHILL IN EGYPT. REGIONAL QUESTIONS SETTLED (Received 11.30 a.m.) CAIRO, March 27. Mr. Churchill's mission has been successful in settling many Eastern regional questions, which in future will come under the purview of the Colonial Uliiee. Several important suggestions will be offered to Cnbinet regarding which strict spereey is enjoined, but withdrawal from Mesopotamia, it is indicated, will be sufficiently gradual to permit the local Government to organise itself.
The most dubious point confronting Mr. Churchill is the grouping of Aden and Somaliland under a single administration under the Colonial Uffice. Such hostility has been aroused among Indians and Arabs that the position will have to be entirely reconsidered.— ("Times.")
