I PROTESTS "FROM AUSTRALIA. SYDNEY, March 23. At the annual meeting of the United Purebred Dairy Cattle Breeders' Association, it was stated that the Victorian societies were "arranging a petition, /and I desired the New South Wales societies to do likewise, with the object of having removed the New Zealand enWoargo on Australian cattle, which was impos.-d to , prevent lb" possibility of introducing ■ cattle diseases into the Dominion.
