AUCKLAND CI.T'B'S MKrTnx<l. A very successful race meeting of the Auckland Motor Cycle (Tub is being held this afternoon at the Takapuna racecourse. The following are the results at the time of going to — Novice Handicap, five laps-— Hart. 7-9 Indian, scr, 1 : R. Bray. 7 Henderson, ser., 2; A. Roberss, 3_ Norton SOs j'i. There were nine starters. Won j easily. Time, li.O -J-5. *<. (Gordon was i winning easily, -but met with engine trouble about four furlongs from home. Takapuna Handicap (open), seven laps.—A. T. Hell, 7-9 Ilarley Davidson, (ios. 1 ; S. Whitehead. 7-9 Kxeelsior. 20s. •2; I-:. ('. ('aisford. 3_ Indian, HSs, li At the end of five laps Bell was in front and eventually won by half a lap. Time, 7.1. S r nere were thirteen starters. During the race Soutnr, Coleman and Henderson had to pull out owing to engine trouble.
