The candidate already announced are: Messrs. 1.. McKenzie". K. A. Wright, .M.1., and i . J. *■ Norwood, all members of the City Council and -Mr. P. Hickey, Labour. To-nicai representatives of the Electors' Associations met and daoee under the system of preferential voting Mr. T. Shailpr Weston, president of the Employers' Federation, as a candidate, Unless some candidate withdraws the Labour nominee stands a good chance of election.
