Some ruses supposed to contain valuable poods when opened were found full of bricks and rubbish. He. remembered nine eases supposed to mntain place kid worth C 2.10, which were filler! with Milestone and straw, .lames Anderson, representing Dalgety's. testified that wood blocks wero cunningly substituted for parts of a motor cycle. Philip Wade, detective, was of opinion that only a fair and reasonable amount of pilfering was going on. He did not ngrep that there was a large organisation of thieves and receivers.— (A. and X.Z.
