AMERICA'S CLAIM DISPUTED. NEW YORK, March 6. The Washington correspondent of the "New York Times' , states that it is understood that Britain's reply to Mr. Wilson's Note on the Mesopotamia mandate is conciliatory, but rejects American contentions for equality of participation with Allied Nationals in Mesopotamia's economic development. The Note points out that British interests obtained monopolistic rights in Mesopotamia before the war.— (A, aud N.Z.)
