Miss Way is visiting Auckland. Mri. E. Stace, of Hamilton, has been on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. H. Biggs, is on a visit to her sisters, Misses Jolly, Frankton Hill. Miss Gwyane is paying a visit to Auckland. Mrs. Peacock and family have gone for a month's holiday to Raglan. Mrs. Wilkin and family are spending their holidays in Tauranga. Mrs. G. McLeod, who has been on a visit to Mrs. Noonan, retarr.ed to her home in Wanganui last week. Mr. and Mrs. 0. Smith have returned after spending a very pleasant holiday in Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. Bayly have left for their new home at K.ohimarama. Mrs. L. O'Neil has been on a visit to the Thames. Mrs. Noonan entertained a few friends last Friday afternoon to meet Mrs. G. McLeod, who was in Hamilton for a few days. The rooms looked very dainty decorated" w : .th lovely flowers, and a delicious afternoon tea was served. Mrs. Noonan received her guests wearing a navy silk. Mrs. McLeod was in blue voile, beaded with black. Amongst those present were Mesdames Stevens, E. P. Cowles, F. Jolly and many others. Miss Brosnan i- at present on a visit to Hamilton, staying with Miss Clapcot. Mrs. vtiller has been on a visit to Hamilton. Miss Lever motored through from Auckland, and was the guest of Miss Clapcott. A delightful dance was given by the Misses Hunter at the residence of their sister. Mrs. Farrer, as a farewell to the Misses Brewis, who are leaving shortly with their father on an extended tour. Mrs. Farrer wore a pretty black braided frock; Miss Hunter, pale blue and silver; Miss C. Hunter, amethyst brocade.
