WELLINGTON WOOL SALES.
SLIGHTLT IMPROVED VALUES. FOR P.EST FLEECES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The wool sales are proceeding. The dialogue totals 17,000 bales. Competition is mainly American lor well-classed nice-conditioned wools, and prices for such are up a halfpenny on the last sales, buyers from the Continent securing the best lambs' wool in competition with the local mills. Merinos were not wanted. Really super crossbreds sold well up to prices at the last sale, or slightly above. Faulty and seedy lines were below those of last sale rates, or not wanted. Corriedale wool realised 14d. The sale is proceeding.
