BUTTER AND CHEESE MARKETS
AN UNSATISEACTORT OUTLOOK PRICES FALLIXt; n.\ LONDON. It is a fortunate thing for dairy fawners that they sold their outpnt of butter ahead at a high price, as the outlook now is that lower prices must rule towards ttie middle of the year. Unfortunately the butter was only sold up to March 31. As the cheese market is dull at Home. factories that are I equipped with dual plant have switched on to butter so has to secure the hi^ii I prices ruling until the end of March. The hotter season lasts till the en.l of July, and the prices for the last three following months will probably show a decl'ne in sympathy with London. The cheese market was.a free one t.js season. Prices have not Ween pood this season, and at the present time heavy stocks are held awaiting shipment.
