i ■ Captain Leo. Myers leaves by midday train to-morrow for Wellington en route for Kngland. Mr. .1. Drummond. senior in.-rpeetor of secondary schools, left for Wellington by the express last evening. Mr. Justice Stringer has arrived in Auckland, and is expected to preside at ithe criminal sessions which open next Monday. Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., leaves for Rarotonga by the Tahiti to take up duty as fJ-ovcrnment Residential C-ommie-sioncr in the Cook Group. Mr. J. W. Tibbs. headmaster of Auckland lirammar School, has returned from Wellington, where he attended the annual conference of the N.Z. .Senate. The Hon. C. J. Parr, Minister of Education, visits Wanganui to-morrow. Mr. K. W. Kane, Clerk to the Hou*,. „i Representatives, is at the Grand Hotel. Air. K. W. Alison, jun., leaves for Wellington by the midday express to-mor row, en route for Christchurch. He i= accompanying his son. who ,-nturs Christ College this year.
