It was decided to send an abbreviated cable to tlie Prime Minister, England: "'As the success of the Allied arms was the result of unity upon the battlefields, this meeting expresses the opinion that burials of deceased soldiers should be carried out on lines indicating simQar principles as a mark of our wish to carry the spirit of unity which existed among the soldiers even unto the grave, and respectfully requests the Government to have all burials carried out without a.ny signs to indicate religious denominational boundaries or differences in our soldiers' cemeteries."
