IBy Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Evidence at. the inquest into the death of F. He | ; evidently examined various parts, and i< opened the inlet tank and peered in with ' a lighted match in his left hand. The i tank was nearly empty, and the full mif- I, ture of vapour and air exploded, and killed Hulse instantaneously. The theory of one witness was that the vacuum feed ; went wrong. ; : The coroner (Mr. Riddell, S.M.) com- ■ mented on the deceased's lack of experience. He had driven two months only in i, an emergency. |- A verdict that death -was due to the ! explosion of a benzine tank was returned. |
