There were a number of people about the Auckland station platform U»t evening voicing loud complaints. ft was easy to gather that they had beta left behind when the Main Trunk express departed for the south. So great was the call upon accommodation that both seating and sleeping berths were all taken up fully half-an-hour before the time for the departure of the train; but it is believed that most of those who were disappointed were not through passengers, being bound for Hamiltoa and other places of attraction. The train carried a maximum load of about 500 passengers. Between three and four hundred passengers left by the special trains for Helensville this morning, while about 200 went by the special train for Hamil. ton.
