SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP; ] BRACKENRIDGE WINS FINAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON", Thursday. The Dominion bowling tournament was concluded to-day, when the fln.il of the singles championship was played. Spiller met J. M. Brackenridge (Newtown). Brackenridge won by 23 points to 15 on the twentieth head. Brackenridge took the lead early and on the fifth head led nine to one. Spiller then Improved his drawing, and on the ninth head the scores were: Brackenridj*e 10, Spiller 8. Thereafter, although the various heads were closely contested, Brackenridge maintained hLs lead. Spiller scored two at each of the fourteenth and fifteenth heads, bringing the scores to 10 —13. but. Brackenridge added seven points to his total to Splller's two before the twentieth head, when the game ended. At the eonolusiou of the play the prizes won in the various sections won' presented to the successful competitors by Mr. Rush, president of the Dominion Association. SOUTH AUCKLAND TOURNAMEN*.
