10/ TO BE RETTTRICED. I SIXPENCE DIVIDEND IN MARCH I An import-ant announcement has been made by the directors of the Waihi G.M. . Company, Ltd. Tho iocal attorneys today received the following cable from the London oflice, dated January 27, : 1921: "Have issued a circular to-day stating 'As contemplated at the last , annual general meeting lour dividends of one shilling haye been paid in IM_U. Having regard to the position and pfbs- , pects of the mine, and having in view the I contemplated reduction in capital, the board of directors are not able to recomI mend that the present quarterly interim l dividends in respect to the year 1921 should exceed sixpence, and have de- , clared a dividend of sixpence payable on I March 1, 1921. At the annual general : meeting the l-oard of directors will take j steps to reduce the capital so as to j return 10/ per share as soon as it can legally be done: necessary funds are i now available." j The circular also states that th» : approximate bullion realisation last year ] was £340^00.
