AIMS OF JAPAN.
DOMINATION IN ASIA.
AN EYE ON AUSTRALIA.
(By Cable.—Presß Association.—Copyright.) (Received 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Mr. H. Staughton has arrived from Japan, where for several years he occupied a prominent business' position. He says that Japan's aim is to dominate the whole Fast, beginning with China, then Manchuria and the maritime provinces of Siberia, gradually moving down to Java, the Philippines, and Australia. They also have an eye on South America, their agents sending information to the Foreign Office from whatever country they are in for future guidance.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
