WARNING AGAINST SPIRITUALISM

Mr. E. 11. Portere, an ex-medium, lately connected with the Spiritualist movement, will speak in the Town Hall on Thursday night, and will sound a grave note of danger in connection with seance rooms demonstrations. Air. Portere knows from personal experience that Spiritualistic phenomena are not. as so often stated by the ignorant, mere chicanery and sleight, but are actually produced. However, the dangers of occult communion are too grave for average experience, and much interest will attach to Mr. Portere's disclosures in this connection. Everyone hearing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's addresses should also hear Mr. Portere, whose experiences are firet-hand. Reserved seats may be booked at Lewis Eady and Sons, Ltd., and in view of the great interest Mr. Portere's lecture is occasioning the early booking of seats i≤ advised.— (Ad.)
