REPATRIATION RESULTS.
SOLDIERS' REPAYMENTS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Hon. D. H. Guthrie, Minister in Charge of Repatriation, expressed great satisfaction to your correspondent at the manner in which soldiers who have been assisted to purchase 'businesses and to eeeure furniture and took under , the Repatriation Department's scheme liave repaid the advances. We have, he said, already spent over £630,000 on the repatriation side of our work, apart from lajjd settlement, and have received over £130,000 in repayments. This ifl very promising indeed, and shows both that -what the Government is doing is on safe Knee in ite administration, and that it is appreciated by ex-soldiers who Obtained the 'benefit.
