Last week a team of Auckland players, the Wanderers, vlstted Heleusvillc and had a most enjoyable one-day game against a local e-leven, who proved .sportinK players and worthy opponents. Auckland l>clns two men short, arrangements were made for one of them to hat twice, while ill refuru Kowntree kept wickets for both teams, w.hlle the order ot batting was decided by lot. The result ot a soud jamc .in the niattins-ou-coucrcte wicket was a draw. Heleusvillc making 170, and the 'Wanderers 161 for nine wickers. Scores:—
