MINISTERS IN AUCKLAND.
The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. W. F. Maasey, spent a busy morning with callers and interviewers on various Government and departmental matters, and this afternoon visited the Show at Epsom.
The Minister of Public Works and Postmaster-General (the Hon. J. G. Coates) dealt with a number of deputations this morning, and later paid a visit of inspection to tho Grey Lynn Post Office in connection with the member for the district, Mr F. N. Bartram. This afternoon tho Minister visited the show grounds. On Monday Mr. Coates leaves for Silverdale, VV'aiwera, and Puhoi, whence he will probably go across to Uelensville, returning to town on Wednesday evening. On Thursday morning next the Minister will receive some more Auckland deputations.
Tho Hon. Dr. M. Pomare, member ot the Executive Council representing the native race, and Minister in charge of the Cook Islands administration, returned South by train last night from his visit to Auckland.
Found guilty last night of the murder of Sidney Seymour Eyre at Pukekawa on August 24.
