CHORAL FESTIVAL.
An event of special interest to music. _. lovers is tho grand Choral Festival to , take place in the Town Hall on the 14th and 16tfi December. On the first evening . "The Messiah" will be performed, anif't on the second evening "Elijah." The engagement of Miss Amy Evans and Mr-:; " Fraser Gange gives assurance of a perfect rendering of the well-known solos from these popular works. An exceptionally large chorus and orchestra is now- rehearsing t-wice a week, and no effort is being spared by the conductor and committee to make the concerto a ,j great artistic success. " ' _.#
