Application for permission to carry a pistol beyond the home must be made to the police on a Kpivial form. Tin- holder of a license to carry a pistol must notify the police of any change of address. The -seller must specify the firearm on the back of the permit and must return the document to the police. The regulations deal also with the possession of arms in prescribed areas. The Act provides that the Government may fix areas within which possession of arms, ammunition and explosives will be unlawful, except pursuant to license issued by the police. Puch license may be revoked at any time, and the holder must notify the police of any change of address. The Act requires that any person owning firearms must register. The application for registration mu?t be made to an authorised police officer. The registered owner of any firearm must notify any change of address to the police.
