SPORTS PROTECTION LEAGUE

ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the Auckland ! branch of the New Zealand Sports Protection League was held on t'riday, Mr. John Kowe presiding. The unuual report stated that at last general election every candidate was interviewed and hts views uijou matters vital to the league obtained. Candidates were aeked to sign a pledge supporting che policy of tlie league. Only one opponent of tile league was elected.
