VALUATION OF WOOL.
n END OF COMMANDEER. g DROP IX PRICE ANTICIPATED. g| The final valuation of wool on behalf ! >of the Imperial authorities is to take ... place in Wellington early this month, n and brokers are preparing their respec- .- tivo catalogues in readiness for the n Government valuers (says the "N'Z. d Times"). d Tt is not expected that the aggregate t offering will be of large dimensions, as :- none of this season's wool, comprising that of hoggets and rams, which has a come to hand, will lie realised. The final date for the receipt of wool i- by tihe brokers has been fixed as September 30, and the lots will consist of o oddments from last season and crutchings. The latest advice is that the valuations will ho carried out on October . 1. The valuers then go to Wanganui to value the offerings there. At the completion of the valuation future supplies, together with the present season's clip will be sold on the open market. The indications arc that a marked drop in prices will be ex- . perienccd.
