DROGHEDA BEWARE!
A POLICE WARNING. AN ETE FOR AN EYE. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) : H (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON. September 30. Notices posted at Drogheda read:— "Drogheda beware! If a policeman is shot here, five Sinn Feiners v will be shot. It is not coercion; it is an eye for an eye. We are not drink-maddened savages :we are not out for loot; we are not offensive to women; we are as human as other Christians, but we have restrained ourselves too long. Are we to lie down while our comrades are being shot by the 'corner boys' and raga- ! muffins of Ireland?,, We say 'never,' and 1 all the inquiries in the world will not stop our desire for revenge. Stop shootj ing the police, or we will lay low every I bouse that smells of Sinn Fein. Rememi bcr Balbriggan." —(Reuter.)
