The Victorian Treasurer, Mr. McPherson, in a pre-Budget statement, said that the revenue Jor 1919-20 was £15,433,000 against an estimate of £13,905,000, and the expenditure £15,220,000 against an estimate of £13,854,000. The estimated revenue and expenditure for 1920-21 was £17,500,000. Reforring to the wheat yield he stated that the area under cultivation was estimated at three million acres against ?\vn millions in ISH9-20.
