. MIX-- --AX-AGBRS - REPORTS. Golden Belt.—The reef at the Intermediate level looks well In the -topes, and there is some nice sulphide ore showing near the vnigg in the south, end of the stopes. The ri-e Is now up the required ; height. Tlz.. 69ft, and a start will he made ;to connect .with the north eDd of the I intermediate level. KURAXUI. The directors' report, to be submitted at the half-yearly meeting of shareholders in the Kuranul G.M. Company, yesterday. stated that driving had been continued on a reef Intersected in the Magazine tunnel. Good Indications had new continued for some -weeks. The report further stated that the Minister for Mines had granted- a subsidy of 6/8 per foot for 300f,t of driving on this- reef. The manager reports that the reef Is a strong liody of ore with 2ft to oft of solid quartz carrying good mineral. The meeting called at 3 p.m. yesterday lapsed for -want of a quorum.
